Lots a comments for solos,but if ya go with a buddy,the accom costs are halved,thats a big deal.
Only Extras other than accom for 2 pax while living in Thailand= 2XBottle scotch a day and a few "non" bar beers $30 + flash meals fo 2 maybe $10 a day,Train and bus,$3 day,keep away from the whores and massages,shit its easy to live big, even on an australian seniors pension of $350 week p/p.
So whats the problem?
All you accom,All your food,All your booze,All your transport around town in Bkk for a week,that amount would only cover 1 night out at an overpriced restaurant in Okker land,or I dare say any other western city.
I know what I would choose!
