I Need help from a Goa Local!
I need to know if Furtados beach house resort is still operating?
Furtado's Beach House
Address: Sernabatim, Colva, Salcette, Goa, 403708, India
Phone:+91 832 277 0396
Transit: Colva Bus Stand
Stayed there last trip, basic but well located for peace and quiet.
None of the Hotel booking sites seem to be able to book them anymore, and there is no web site.
I can only think they have closed or changed name or owners.
Turn left past Baywatch resort.and on to the beachfront,on the left side.
Anyone popped out there lately??
Please advise?

Welcome to BE and the Goa forum............you will certainly find warmer weather in Calangute than you have in the UK right now !!!!
Here are a few hotels I can name off the top of my head but you will ahve to look up contact details on the internet:
- Kamat Holiday Village, Calangute
- Nizma Hotel, Calangute
- Caps Corner, Baga Road, Calangute
Friends of mine have stayed in these and spoke well of them.
Not sure what the cost is of any of them, but I am hearing prices ranging from 700 rupees per night (about £9) to around 2000 rupees per night (about £25) for basic but reasonable rooms.
