Driving is ok in Malaysia but as has already been stated a GPS is a must.

Also, an international driving licence is required.

Nasi Lemak is all about the quality of the rice & sambal.

The rice should be consistently firm, not too fluffy & definitely not sticky. Most rice cookers result in nice tasting but sticky rice...

To be honest I'd never heard of Melaka fried chicken before, but, they deep fry it with a wonderful spicy mix & it actually comes out dark brown & has the appearance of being burnt!...

My favourite hawker stall (Mama Lissa's) closed down a while ago but they have just opened a restaurant at the Bukit Jambul Shopping Complex & the food is just as good as before with a little more...
