Yes we were told by GB liners (this week) that we will need to go and sign. We are also moving to Hamilton and there is a customs office there so no need to go back to Toronto DaveandAilsa.

Yes I would agree re the pessimism. I am a Social Worker and have a family therapy MA and in my experience it is to your advantage to have experience behind you, both life and otherwise....

Sorry getting confused now. I thought that we did have to land together as I am the sponsor. Could he go on his own?

I have travelled quite a bit when pregnant the last time and am fine with it....

What I am now thinking is that we could travel in February ish, have a long weekend in Toronto, complete the landing and then return to the UK for the rest of the pregnancy and then all come together...

Yes am familiar with the joys of plane journeys with little ones, babies are by far better travellers than 2 year olds!

Thanks for the replies and congratulations. We are staying with my parents and as all of my family live in Ontario we definitely are planning on coming there, so landing elsewhere is not an option.
