Harping on about health care again... and questions.

Well, I'm on the continued adventure of the US health care system for a back injury. So far I've paid out of pocket for physical therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic, and other things... over 6 months....

Yes, I needed (and still need) physical therapy. Kaiser is not able to tell you the final cost up front. Thus there are hidden costs. When you are sick and desperate you are vulnerable. You will go...

BTW, I'm from West Sussex too, and would move there if I was moving back! Hoping to do an extended stay in the next year or two... since I think I would miss San Francisco.

Thanks for the info... gosh I've never worked as a "grown up" in the UK. Have to look up this VAT thing. Just know it's something my dad complained aabout when I was a kid!
