Re: Baulkham Hills

Hills district is very bland though - all houses and nothing to do.

Transport is appalling

However - if you're happy enough looking at your house and admiring it then you'll be just fine.

Birth Certificates - evidence of parentage

Hi,

Quick question.

My birth cert (british) does not list my parents. The immi form clearly asks for a certificate which does list parents.

Any ideas folks?

Re: Sydney House Prices

I'm assuming London-Reading is about 50 miles (centre to centre). So why not start by getting the compasses out and drawing an arc about 80kms from the Opera house and see if you can't get something...

Re: Sydneysiders, what % of your salary do you spend on your rent???

If you're earning upwards of 20,000 per month then I'd expect rent would be the least of your worries.

I have a 3 bed detached house. It takes up 20-25% of our earnings.

I really feel the chill in the winter. Outside its fine, but when the temp goes down to around 8-10 at night I find the house is freezing. I think there are some reasons for this:

1. No insulation...
