Yes- totally agree with above - you'll cringe at the electronic prices here. Even if you bring them and want to upgrade later you can still sell them here. We just changed the plugs on our items.

Oh and to add we still have our UK HSBC account and it's still active as my mum likes to put money for the kids into it rather than posting etc. Also useful for trips back home.

I found when I initially moved here that agencies were useless... Trade Me is a good site for a start. New Zealand Herald is also useful. Other than that... just the agencies in the local area.......

aparently parts of Canada, US (still), also Australia, India I think, and the Netherlands, but yes, NZ still seems to be as stubborn as ever to changing to other methods/baits etc

Have to agree the "Pure NZ" ad scheme (tourist puller) was OTT - even exhaust emisions do not appear to be measured here for your WOF/MOT - and don't get me started on what goes down stormwater...
