Who is NZ's top employment agency
Hi, can anyone tell me of a No1 employment agency within NZ. I was told of SEEK but thats for Austrialia, is there an equivalant in NZ?

I found when I initially moved here that agencies were useless... Trade Me is a good site for a start. New Zealand Herald is also useful. Other than that... just the agencies in the local area.... :/

Don't know about up north but down here seems to be knowing someone who knows someone, who might be looking for someone...

It's all very incestuous especially in this climate - you'll need to do a multi-pronged attack to secure a job - the sites as mentioned plus contacting the relevant agencies that may be advertising, and be prepared to make a few late night calls from the UK to these agencies - almost to the point of hassling them so they know you're serious about moving out here. It may take a few months just to get a couple of good agencies on your side - the best jobs will not even get advertised, but you need to be in the pool of good candidates known to agencies/contacts to gain access to them.
