Flights have been booked!!! Manchester to Dubai to Melbourne to Auckland - got a free transit hotel in Dubai.
We're flying out on 15th August arriving in Auckland on the 17th!!!!:thumbsup:

Medicals Grrrrrr!

I phoned the panel doctors as we had our medicals nearly 2 weeks ago and I hadn't heard anything.
My bloods and x-ray are fine but they said that Eva's x-ray looks abnormal and needs to be done...

As soon as I get my visa my brother will be on the lookout for me. He bought a Toyota Ipsum for $5k when he first came over, approx 6 years ago and it's still going strong. :thumbup:

Not a bad idea MrsFychan but I don't think I'll get a very good baggage allowance as I'll be going on a temp work visa. The best priced flights at the mo seem to be with Singapore with a 20kg hold...

My daughter Eva will be going to an Intermediate school when we arrive in Auckland. I personally see it as a positive thing. It will prepare her better for High school hopefully.

I have a job offer for the beginning of September so I believe obtaining a temporary visa is the quickest way, but I want permanent residency and I want use the same medicals.
