It is pretty thoughtful actually. Given that they've gone to the lengths to hire in London he'd probably have a better chance being he's in CA already.

Can't be that hard mate. I've got an interview for menial work with Mountain Park lodge in Jasper, Alberta (though the interviews in London) in a few days.

You can pick up a 30k dead end job anytime. I spent a year getting steamed in south east asia and came back and had a job paying 27k within 18 days of landing back in jan 10....

Wow thank you, she's a husky so she'll need a good hour exercise in the morning and evening. I saw theres a park near QSW. Is it a nice park or full of drunks?

Can you own a dog in Toronto or is it not feasible? Specifically queens street west?

I hope, god forbid, you or someone you love isn't struck with a perceived flaw that is the uglier side of social darwinism. It would probably give you some perspective though.

Ahh very cool. No small town living is my thang. In London at the mo as contracting here is ridiculous (in a good way) but you have to take the good with the bad.

IE. London = lotta money to save...

I spent a few weeks in Nova scotia last year which was ace but I was a bit of a tourist mostly taking pictures and staying in different hotels.

I abhor professionalism. Don't get me wrong when in rome (in London at mo) I'm very professional and work my arse off.

However all professionalism did in London was give people jobs that came...

Proof of funds - Trouble with banks

I took my sheet into Natwest to get proof of funds for my WHV and Natwest said no you can't do that!

Ring bunac and they tell me to ask Natwest to send me a letter confirming my proof of funds....

I'm not entirely sure on the visa route if I'm honest. He's not retired at the moment... he retires as of Jan 2012 but he'll be looking to emigrate next year. After he sells his 3 properties I guess...
