Quesition about cancelling an application

Hi all

Unfortunately due to some difficult changes to our personal circumstances we've decided that A- perhaps now isnt the best time to consider a move to Canada and B- we may now find it...

I doubt they will take it into account to be honest. May 1 isnt a fixed date that they will announce changes.

But use Interparcel (google it) and you will be able to get tracked "document"...

Correct. The whole "act of God" argument isnt quite applicable in this case.

Anyway, Id be amazed if flights dont start up again regardless of where the ash cloud is or how long it sticks around....

I submitted my application to Sydney NS 2 weeks ago without it. It is not specifically asked for on the application or to be included within the documents to be enclosed to NS.

APC - I havent had experience of job hunting in Canada but from reading the wiki here it doesnt sound like your expereinces with IT recruiters in Canada are anything different to those looking for...

I doubt I'd be going down this route and I do know that unencumbered is mentioned a few times but it appears that it would almost be better/more sensible if possible for those relying on a home sale...

I dont have Canadian working experience (yet) but in the UK, depending on sector and area you are job hunting or working in, there is significant competition for jobs (your 200+ applications), ageism...
