Part of the BC trip was our naivety at how many people reside in places. We are used to places with 2000 - 5000 and working in Cheltenham which has a population of 112'000.

My job is a bit more broad. While I class myself as an IT manager I can go for many types of project management jobs outside IT (energy, automotive, pharma and medical) and service delivery...

No you are right, the passageway to immigration bypasses passport control. You have to ask what is stopping anyone just walking out of the airport illegally.

Its not ideal but if you want a job it is you not the Canadian's who will have to go the extra mile.

Surely we have enough stacked against us as new immigrants to a country without adding more.
