Re: Speaking Kiwi

Surely most New Zealanders would also look at you in abject horror, if you'd said that in front of them!

Re: UK driving licence

Not tested it personally, but I think the purposes of the one year rule are fairly clear. It is to allow short term visitors to drive on their foreign licence. Also ensuring anyone in NZ long term...

If you'll be in New Zealand for more than a year, you need to gain a New Zealand driver licence....

Re: New Zealand Driving License

Are you certain that by leaving and re-entering the country that it resets the one year clock? I'm not sure exactly what the NZTA rules are, but I would be very careful of that.

I would suggest...

Re: Lurker forced out of hiding

Quite simply - this is where my life is now. I love it in the UK, despite its problems it is an amazing place and feel privielged to be part of it. I often think about going back to New Zealand,...

Re: Racism toward Poms

Normally I'm a bit of a lurker, feel I must chime in on this one though! As a bit of background, I was born and raised in Dunedin, but have lived nearly all of my adult life in the UK. I'm a dual...

Re: INTERNAL FLIGHTS NZ - WHAT CAN YOU TAKE?

You'll only get your hand luggage x-rayed at the larger airports which handle domestic jet flights, 737's, A320's etc. Passengers for these filghts are held in a secure area before boarding. This...
