Found out a week or so ago that I was being made redundant. I have a 3 month notice period, and my employer wants to pay me in lieu of the final 2 months. My question is, to which date should my...

Re: podcasts

The podcast of Frank Skinner’s Absolute Radio show is my personal favourite. You can, I think, still get all the podcasts of Dave Gorman’s now deceased Absolute Radio show which are very funny....

Re: Scottish Independence

The short answer to the “How much oil’s left” question is of course no one really knows, although as anyone who lives in Aberdeen or works in the industry will tell you, it was meant to have run out...

Re: Scottish Independence

So you think Westminster is a fine upstanding establishment which serves the entire UK fairly and equally?

Re: Scottish Independence

Of course he’s been painting this picture, in the same way the Darling et al have been (trying) to paint the picture that a Yes vote will cause a sinkhole to open up and swallow the UK.

Re: Degree Attestation for UAE

I managed to not need to get my degree certificates attested when I moved out here. Now I’m moving jobs and it looks like I’ll need to get these done.

Re: Scaremongering?

I have a friend who visited India last year on a work trip. On her daily trip to and from her “5-star” hotel and the best embassy school in Delhi she used to play a game of ‘spot how many adults you...
