Salmond's a wanker, I've said before.
But for sake of parity, I should be saying the same about the rest of them as well...because they all, generally, are.

I don't see it as a simplistic binary choice. Like any other democratic political entity, Westminster gets some things right and some things wrong. Of course, it's entirely necessary for Salmond's purposes to demonise it to Scottish voters, even though he absolutely needs it to be on-side if there's a "yes" vote.

And Salmond's any better? He's telling flat-out lies, providing evasive non-answers and generally feathering his own nest as well as any of them.

I'd have much more respect for him if he was being upfront about the realities of independence, saying "Yes, it's going to be difficult, there will be pain, and quite probably things will get a lot worse before they get better", and also if he was campaigning for true independence, fiscally as well as politically. If he was that confident, he'd be pushing for Scotland to have its own currency and own central bank. All his bullshit about Scotland being able to get everything it wants without pain or compromise is just insulting.

If Scotland wants to repopulate their neglected regions then they could send a flotilla Of caledonia ferries down to the med or Calais or Bombay and fill them in minutes for free.

The no campaign have brought all their leaches out to continue to threaten and bully Scottish people to stay shackled to a punitive political system structured to protect and support the wealthy at the expense of ordinary people.
