Perhaps you should take cash... However, I travel frequently via Peace Arch and to Point Roberts and both borders have accepted my UK credit card - last crossed May 2009.

It may be safer to send via UPS, Fedex etc so then: 1. you get to track it, and 2. you can include a return paid envelope via the same.

First, sponsor forms and PR to to Mississauga where sponsor is evaluated - this takes around 4-5 weeks - approx.
If sponsor is approved all docs are sent via diplomatic courier to London, London...

The sponsor must pay the $75.00 The applicant must pay $475.00 initially. You can then pay the $490.00 after the sponsor part is done before they isse the visa.
