Are you thinking he will attend TVU Reading? If so, they have an entrance test for mature students which may allow him to attend. Not sure if it will apply for A level though. High school...

Here's what happened to us... Visa mess = return to the UK. Very little money. Benefits office very unhelpful, had to wait 8 weeks for HRT...

I wish you luck and good health. I would advise researching NHS screening for your condition though, as I think you may be dissapointed as their screening is nothing like the USA.

It will depend on your condition and the reason for the checks.


I had to have 6 monthly mamogram and ultrasound checks post cancer in the USA. On returning to the UK I was told it was unnessary...

Have you tried HSBC in Perth. They have branches in the UK so transfering the account to the UK would be easier than trying to open an account.

Basically the landlord has all of the deposit which is equal to one months rent. It was allways kept by the agent until they were taken over buy...

The was no condition report on moving in. Origionally the deposit was held by the agent, but they were taken over and we didn't notice the change when we renewed the last lease...
