There is no Spanish Will, only an English one which leaves everything to the wife.

We thought that unless there was a Spanish Will the property would be divided under Spanish law. ...

His UK will says all his property goes to his wife - my friend.

I was merely stating that under Spainish law without a Spanish Will, I thought that it would go to his son.

If you cannot show any earnings, etc. you will have to pay six months rent in advance to rent a property.

Cancelling Telefonica

If I cancel my Telefonica phone because I am moving house, how can I ensure that the people taking over the house will be able to keep the line?

Its actually a radio type phone, not a landline as...

According to the British Consulate Website when you leave Spain and return to the UK you should de-register your NIE number, from the Padron and from the health centre you are registered with.

A couple of years ago we applied for the new Residency Certificates and had to go to the Police Station in Torre del Mar. We were able to download the forms from the internet, which saved some time....

Thanks, I think our Vet does have a similar catalogue, as friends were looking for a kennel, but it was quite expensive!!
