If you've been out of the UK for more than 3 years, you're automatically classed as an international student for University courses, less than 3 years abroad, then you're classed as a 'home' student.

Personally, i think the main difference is the high standard of lessons the UK education system provides, and they're FREE!!!! I certainly didn't appreciate how good the UK...
