Thanks, yeah we're flying business (and have status) so we have 3 x 32kg bags each.
But this was for other additional items / clothes etc.
Seems FedEx, UPS, and the like might be best approach...

Anyone know of / have experience of good companies re: moving to Dubai and moving personal items (c. 80-90kg of clothes, shoes etc)?

same boat, everything now “completed” and says I’ll get an invite for oath (assuming virtual) for 16 Dec.

How is the oath invite delivered, assuming email nearer the time (vs post / mail)?

UK PAYE corporate employee work / contract - working physically in Dubai

Hi quick question: if my UK employer allows me to "work from anywhere" (on the planet) and I choose to execute this work (via Remote Work visa) in Dubai - does anyone know if I have to pay PAYE tax...

I got the same request (colour copies of all pages of my passport), but got asked to send to a physical IRCC office address within 30 days.

congrats! seems we're on the same path (albeit swapped order: test first + passport copies to be sent vs other way around). I need to mail my copies in to them, they say.

Yeah was quite surprised myself tbh. I am assuming my application complexity (or lack of) or nationality isn't a factor. I am a UK citizen and I guess it's one of the most straight-forward process...

Ah got it, didn't know it was illegal, will stay away!

Would it be naughty to request a 'replacement' Driving Licence from the UK DVLA (as per their website), so I can hand in mine in Canada and also keep the UK one?
