The ones i saw last september seemed above board although they are not good at responding to emails. Like you said a week in the sun (which we have some of in UK but its still freezing)

This is true also! We did contemplate Gib to live as well but both said we couldnt actually live in Gibraltar.

Was not being "shady" by not highlighting the exact areas we are looking at. Gib is one yes but we are looking at other areas too. I wanted the overall picture

I am going currently an administrator but also qualifed legal sec (yes i know the latter prob wont be of any use in Spain) and husband is qualified scuba diver and qualified tefl teacher

Lol - yeh pretty much! Where i live about 3 -4 shops have been shut down in the shopping mall (not overly big mall) since xmas? Lots of friends are struggling to find work and have been unemployed...
