Re: Hooray I am back and have two questions please

Thanks I thought as much as it did not mention anywhere in the appendix that you should submit such proof. I would think that a family class, sponsored application first and foremost needs to include...

Re: Do UK tv's work in canada?

Errm, it cost me an extra 75 pounds to ship a TV worth over 1600 pounds when I bought it. So there is definitely merit in it. That shipped the TV in a custom made crate, so the likelihood of it being...

Re: Congical partner Visa - any advice at all!

You can always submit two affidavits from someone on each side of your families (or) friends. This will substantiate that you have a genuine relationship. However, anything which is written evidence...

Re: My Experience TWP at POE/ Ontario/ Toronto today.

Well They were very adamant that they wanted the _original_ LMO. Which in my case was a fax received by my employer's lawyers. They sent me that paper.

Yes the job offer should be enough....

Re: My Experience TWP at POE/ Ontario/ Toronto today.

What I brought and what the officer actually looked at do not match at all. It is still recommended that you bring all the documents I brought.

She looked at:

Re: My Experience TWP at POE/ Ontario/ Toronto today.

Even the Services Canada Lady said that OHIP will be much easier once I have a Canadian Permanent Residency. However, as they seem to accept an Ontario Driver's License as proof of address, I will...

My Experience TWP at POE/ Ontario/ Toronto today.

I have arrived on flight AC869 from London today at around 12:20am.
Wandering down to Customs was rather uneventful and after asking whether I needed to fill out the landing card I proceeded to the...

My LMO was submitted on the 19th of November in ONtario and granted on the 15th of December. I know that helps little, but yes mine was submitted in November.

Re: Can he stop me taking my kids?

Alright, let me rephrase that. Minors are allowed to establish an independent household at 16. Which is a federal law.

Re: Can he stop me taking my kids?

Children in canada are partially emancipated at the age of 16. By the age of 16 they are allowed to choose where they wish to live and whether they wish to live alone.

Re: ooh and another thing - house contents insurance

Interesting study to read.

This has some ideas around what canadians want from the Government, it also includes some ideas on immigration and the perceived values thereof.

Enjoy the read.

Re: Snowman - wrong kind of snow?

This is a good indicator that when you snow fell it was slightly below 0 degree Celsius. The snow will thus flake and crystalise much smaller which is sometimes called "dry" snow. The surface area is...
