Re: ACS Assessment Required?

You can apply to as many as you like, as long as your skills are on the state's list. However, some states look negatively on it if you apply to more than one state.

Re: Computing Professional - not elsewhere categorised!!!!!!!

ACS does recognize certain certificates on the same level as an IT diploma, which means you can skip RPL and just doe the "qualifications + 6 years experience", but I'm not sure if either Prince2 or...

Re: FORM 1221 and FORM 80

Forms 80 & 1221 does not form part of the online application process, but many people are asked to submit them afterwards by their CO. Of course this doesn't automatically mean that you will be asked...

Re: FORM 1221 and FORM 80

I've seen so many of the other applicants being asked to submit those 2 forms that I decided to submit them even before being asked, in order to skip any additional delays. I downloaded and printer...

Re: anyone recommend good agent

TRA has nothing to do with getting a job, it's just the positive skills assessment you need in order to apply for a visa.

Since you went to a seminar in Edinburgh I presume you have an UK...

Re: 100 % fully astonished about my job verification during this time as i am in 475

Were you asked to do your meds and police clearance before Sep 23? There's a rumour going around that DIAC is processing some of the applications that were requested to do their meds etc.

Re: 100 % fully astonished about my job verification during this time as i am in 475

Congrats.

If DIAC's done job verification that's almost a sure-fire sign that a CO is looking at your application.

Re: ACS Status not changed

Don't worry, so far your timeline is still well within the norm. Remember, on ACS' website it says 12 weeks, sometimes it can even go a week or 2 over that. Don't start stressing until you've hit...

Re: ACT sponsorship

That's a very good question, one that I don't know the answer to. Maybe one of the agents on here can answer.

Re: ACT sponsorship

1. If you have a passport from an English-speaking country, then ypu won't need IELTS. If only live in an English-speaking country but you don't have a passport from that country you still need...

Re: MCSE Visa Help!

No, the experience doesn't have to be after you complete the MCSE, I had close to 8 years experience when I finished my MCSE, and I applied to ACS straight after I completed my MCSE. I got my ACS...

Re: removing my wife from my 175 application

Why not just keep her on the application? Just because she has the visa doesn't mean she has to use it right away, she can stay behind if she wants. That way, if you guys resolve whatever the issue...

Re: DHL won't courier my banker's draft to DIAC!?

That's really bizarre! How does DHL even know what's inside your envelope? Just seal the envelope and try a different courier, just classify the contents as a visa application.

Re: Will I be accepted....?

The general rule of thumb seems to be that only violent crimes on your PCC is an automatic no. I'm sure in your case if you explain your situation and DIAC doesn't see you as a career fraudster...

Re: (production or plant engineer ) CSL but not MODL

I'm confused now, is it listed on the CSL but not on the MODL, or vice versa?

The CSL is a subset of the MODL, it is the occupations on the MODL that is in REALLY short supply in Aus, therefore if...

Re: IT helpdesk job and ACS - Professional experience

I suppose it depends on what your responsibilities at the helpdesk are: let's say you work at Cisco, and network administrators call you for assistance with advanced router configs it should be okay....

Re: Nurses to be taken off MODL?

No-one can say for sure, but I'd be very surprised if nurses get taken off, it seems good nurses are in short supply all over the world, not just Australia.

Re: ACS skill assessment procedure

Just to add to what freebo said, Iknow it has to do with the amount of credits that you cover, but I'm not sure how they calculate it.

I'm unclear what you mean by "Computer Aided Management", could you elaborate please? The answer to your question will lie in that.

If the IT content was minor you need 6 years, you won't qualify...

Re: MCSE Visa Help!

Actually the MCSE counts as either a diploma, or a degree with a minor in IT, so you fall under Group B, not RPL, and you need 6 years experience.
