Here is Hansard from gov't house on the 31 Oct. If you go to P91 of the document, or (P109 of Adobe) - or just control F and search for "greatest country"

http://www.aph.gov.au/Hansard/reps/dailys/dr311006.pdf

It comes up with a sentence about some Aussies do not value the fact that they come from the greatest country on the face of this planet

So - makes you wonder doesn't it?!
I particularly enjoyed pages 2 and 4 - they were completely blank, not unlike ....... dare I say it, no I'm too chicken.

Don't want to spoil the Aussie-bashing party, but I assume you realise that the guy making that statement is an immigrant from Hong Kong - not a native-born Aussie.

Having been here for 32 years i can say ive given it a fair go. the problem with most aussies is they just wont recognise that they are racist, and have a huge chip on their shoulder, especially when it comes to the english.
its very much a pioneer country still, and is very tough if you are not a born adventurer.
infomration is only given out after you have done the wrong thing..none before even if you do ask, and whenever you complain, they fall back on the old game of dismissing you as a "winging pome"

if i could come home i would, but reading the information about coming home on this webiste, it would be very difficult at the moment. ah well, lottos drawn tomorrow
