If you've not already done so you should take a look at the recent movies with the character Annika Bengtzon - an investigative reporter.

Also worth a look, the Swedish James Bond - Carl Hamilton. Much more 'gritty' than JB with gadgets.

Derek. Awesome show starring Ricky Gervais, Karl Pilkington. Set in an old folks home. A story about Kindness. It will have you laughing and crying.
It is available on Netflix.

Saw Derek as well. Great show. Currently I am having my Martin Shaw fix as watching George Gently. I've seen some of them and like the show. Mr. Shaw has aged very well

Thanks for the tip for Life on Mars. Absolutely loved it. Watched all episodes on Netflix. Now I'm sad that it's over. What's next? Need another great series to watch.

In the meantime, I'm really enjoying The Paradise.

I quite enjoyed the first series of The Paradise...but turned off halfway through the first episode in the second series. Maybe I'll give it a second chance.

I loved season one, so I am really looking forward to tonight's episode.
I have also been watching The Indian Doctor and Moving On. I recorded them as they aired during the day on BBC One. The other show I recently enjoyed was A Mother's Son on ITV. I was surprised by the ending.

Life on Mars is one of my favourite shows. The follow up to it is Ashes to Ashes. I coudn't get into it. I won't say anymore and let you form your opinion on it.
