Filmon are already in courts in the US and EU for copywrite infringement and once the case is resolved and the signal stealers taken out of the market then it is open for an expansion of subscription TV via the internet.
I have no problems paying the BBC , or who ever for a decent service, decent picture, no need to hide my location etc.
Not good news for the VPN providers and others.
Pay for view is the future be it BBC,ITV, SKY or any other network.

The tv reception for all English channels has finally gone with the new satellite that has now been commissioned and the old one redirected. We are in Cabanas with several companies offering expensive monthly subscription fees. Does anyone have any ideas about how to obtain something like the uk free view or free sat.

I have been told by someone in PT they have installed an Android smart TV box. Delivering the the UK stuff through Filmon evidently but also sports and box set TV series plus radio with superior quality over the internet they were receiving on their PC.
It's still an an internet connection I understand. There is a one off cost for the box and set up with all that's required pre loaded.
Further information from [email protected]

It connects to your router and you don't need to connect through a computer. Filmon is free and no need for a VPN.

Look at SmartDNS from Overplay - I use this and it allows me to watch any UK, Australian or USA TV on my laptop. I then connect my laptop to the TV via an HDMI cable.
If you can't connect your computer and the TV, then you can watch on your computer.
No issues with viewing BBC iPlayer and downloading from it, or watching Netflix in the US or UK. etc.

Internet TV, the future??? Impossible at this time as there is not nearly enough bandwidth to accommodate the whole of Europe using the internet for TV.

Filmon is a FREE service that also has an option for you to subscribe should you want extra the fatures. I have used it for over two years and it works just fine on my slow speed.

indeed - with adverts etc.
I prefer to download to watch when I want to via iPlayer
Much better option IMHO
For $5 a month (around £/€3) I just prefer the SmartDNS and it still allows me to watch TV from around the globe.
I started on filmon and still use this via UKTV app (better than filmon IMHO as no adverts etc.) but I am not always around to watch things live.
