Will you need to get a SIM at the airport on arrival or can it wait til later? I'm not sure if you need to show the airport your immune status on the Tawakkalna app to get out the airport on arrival?

One other question - does Neom provide a work laptop? Assume the answer is YES but thought I would check, given you have to buy your own work mobile with the monthly allowance provided.

Yes, they provide a laptop.
No, you don't have to buy a work phone. You use your existing one with a new SIM.

I am currently in the process of interviewing for a role at NEOM and have been told there are 3 sites and that the site I would be at does not currently have facilities for family. Not an immediate issue for me but I was wondering if anyone here has information on a third site - thus far everything I have seen on this board mentions only 2.

Thanks for asking this, I too would be interested to understand what can or can't be sent and brought. As far as books go, I would "like" to bring both professional texts and entertainment reading. I would hope the professional books would be acceptable but in terms of entertainment reading I am unsure what is permitted and what is not?

My husband has been approached about several roles at Neom by headhunters, he's been told the same by all of them - only single or married accommodation and no schooling until 2023. It's not of any interest to us anyway even if we didn't have kids, but we have 2 so definitely not an option!

I haven't heard anything concrete but the recruiter i was dealing with said that if I wanted to enroll in school for September this year i had to enroll now, which would suggest there may be a chance of a space, albeit a small one and getting smaller.

WAs stopped with a suitcase of books one time. I was under the impression they were concerned I was bringing in a load of bibles.

They looked through a few of them but seeing how the guy didn't speak English I don't know what was gained from it, but it was fairly obvious from the pictures on the covers they weren't bibles.

So anything but bibles, and pornography pretty much. I would also be wary of anything technical relating to military machinery and hardware, for obvious reasons.

Just had a onboarding call with NEOM.

- 75K is paid out in full with first salary. (Double checked with the onboarding specialist.)

- If you leave the company within 1 year, you will need to pay back percentage of relocation allowance, which is quite standard for this type of signing bonus. (Mentioned in the contract)

How long after you accepted the provisional offer did you get the actual offer and after that how long did it take until everything kicked off? I was given a provisional offer which I accepted last Thursday and my recruiter said things would move pretty quick but haven't had the official offer yet? Not sure if this is standard or if I should be chasing it?
