Hello All!
just follow up post regarding if anybody can suggest a logistics company to deliver house goods from UAE to Neom? Can anyone recommend a company?
also I heard KSA is strict with that can be sent. Apparently toys and books are not allowed? Does anybody have detailed info on this?

A couple of basic questions:
1) contract says laundry provided, is this a central laundry where you take your clothes and go pick up cleaned, or do they pick up from your accomodation and then bring it back (like in a hotel)?
2) is there a hairdresser/barber on site?
3) is there a safe in the accomodation?
4) is it worth having a bicycle there? Fun and safe rides around the area?
5) does accomodation have all the necessities eg utensils, crockery, cooking equipment (microwave, toaster or similar), water dispenser etc etc?
6) are there enough sockets?
What would you recommend bringing that is not provided in accomodation?

Laundry is picked up twice a week from your unit and returned the next day.

Yes

Some people have mountain bikes and go on rides around the camps. Others use them to get around within the camp.
5) does accomodation have all the necessities eg utensils, crockery, cooking equipment (microwave, toaster or similar), water dispenser etc etc?
You will arrive at NC2 - In these units there are no untensils (other than a spoon). No cooking equipment as there is no kitchen to cook in. Microwave yes, toaster no. There is a kettle and a water dispenser (hot and cold).

I watched your short vids inside the units and the walkabout (thanks for posting those!) and I noticed what I thought was a Dunkin's and one or two other cafe type spots? So what is available there outside of the restaurant officially provided? I can go and grab coffee and other things?

No problem. BTW these vids are inside the "B" cabins. The C is slightly different (smaller bed, no carpet etc).
Yes, there is a dunkin donuts, a burger place and a shawarma guy outside in the community plaza. You can buy whatever you want from them, and they are all open until late in the evening.

You need to do all of that stuff on your own. There are no banking facilities on site and you can no longer open an account online. You need to go to a bank in person and fill in the paperwork and provide your ID and documentation.
Phone is easy yes. Any phone kiosk at the airport you can go to to get a SIM.

You need to go to Tabuk for the bank if you choose SAAB. I dont know the locations of other bank branches.
You will receive information regarding mobile phones and SIM cards in your onboarding pack. There is wifi everywhere, so a huge amount of data allowance is not required per month.
