The old rollers were body on frame so this makes sense.

Somewhere out there is a single Aston Martin shooting brake. When I achieve world domination that will be my ride for the weekly Freshco trip.

In order to remain on-topic; my friend grew up on a mixed farm, and their neighbour had a 1950's Rolls Royce that had been cut apart and modified as a light truck. The owner was well-to-do and a little eccentric. He said the cost was justified as it was the best truck he had ever owned in all his years of farming, had lots of power, and other than regular maintenance was trouble-free.

Ford Motor Co. says it is adding about 1.5 million cars, SUVs and vans to a North American recall to fix door latches that could pop open when the vehicle is in operation.

Ford said the move expands the total recall this year to nearly 2.4 million vehicles in Canada, the United States and Mexico. The company said 233,034 of the recalled vehicles are in Canada.

The automaker said affected vehicles in the latest recall include:

The 2013-15 Ford C-MAX and Ford Escape.
The 2012-15 Ford Focus.
The 2015 Ford Mustang and Lincoln MKC.
The 2014-16 Ford Transit Connect.

Whoah... Thanks for this. This includes 2 of our vehicles.

You're most welcome! You might find this of use - click on the vehicle's blue bar, then the year on the next page, for a full list of recalls (not all apply to Canada - see below).

You'll get a notice if your vehicles are needed for recall. Half the time a vehicle recalled won't actually need anything doing because it's either been done or has the new bit from new if that makes sense.

Yep... We have a few. The first one was for the "engine start" button, it was originally positioned below the "S" gear at the very bottom of the gear shift pallette, but apparently those on the bigger side were able to push this whilst driving and thus turn the engine off ? So it was moved to the top with the "S" position now at the very bottom.

The second we haven't done yet we will worry about it when we get snow tyres on is for the block heater, which we don't use.

The third is this. Will see if a notice comes in the mail but i'd rather get it in soonish if the door is at risk of popping open while I am driving

I drive a Mini Cooper Clubman and my husband is desperate for a truck, I'd be happy with an SUV but he wants to live the Canadian Dream so Dodge Ram is on his wish list, along with a quad, dirt bike and trailer!

Beckie, knock some sense into him! We already have enough trucks round here loaded with the toys

Dodge Ram, Crew cab (seats 6) - not the quad cab which is smaller inside - I can recommend as being very comfortable with lots of storage.

I know i'm quite happy to move over and let the trucks pass when we go for a drive....the fuel costs literally nothing and it was fine in the winter. Although I did close my eyes when he was driving to Big White last winter! I wanted a truck then!
We had a 'look' at the Dodge Dealership...we shall see! The Mini is good when it doesn't need shiny new parts from BMW that cost a small fortune!

I just did an insurance quote for myself for a 2016 Focus....$500 a month. You've got to be kidding me.
