Spurs vs. Scousers on opening day.
An appeal to the visitors, I know London is big and shiny but please try keep your hands in your own pockets. ;) |

I believe there are a number of designs for home made traps you can use to catch those, for example by cutting the top off a 2 litre pop bottle then turning it upside-down and insert it into the lower half of the bottle.
Put some sugar syrup inside the bottle to attract and drown the pesky insectoid low-leaguers.

hmm not sure about this one, with further support maybe, can't help thinking we have signed another park, lots of go but not much to show. |
Re: The Toon Army / EPL thread
A good player but a significant amount of wedge, not sure he's worth that but he is quality. A different sort of player to Poncaldo and highly unlikely to sulk when he gets tackled.

David Edgar to Burnley
Burnley have completed the signing of defender David Edgar from Newcastle. Edgar has signed a four-year deal with the Premier League new boys after seeing out his contract at St James' Park. Though given the town's reputation as a BNP centre, wouldn't Joey Barton have been a better choice? |

Wouldn't that also describe Tevez?.....looks like SAF has lots of money burning a hole in his pocket....I guess it would be wishful thinking that there is some free talent in the academy or reserve team that can move up to the 1st team for free
the only plus about this is hopefully fergie will stick to a 4-4-2, with rooney and berbatov up front as out an out strikers. |

Owen to Man Utd?
Michael Owen has arrived at Manchester United's Carrington training ground to undergo a full medical before completing his shock move to Old Trafford If it happens, it's likely to be the surprise move of the transfer window. |

And he is on a free transfer. This can only help his chances for England in the World Cup. |
Re: The Toon Army / EPL thread
I hope it works out for him, it would have been a massive come down to end up somewhere like Hull when he's only 29!
