I'd imagine that with Ribery, however well he was playing, you'd get 100% effort. Not as talented as Henry, but..... You pays yer money.....

All players are like that and even the grafters have off days............judging by your user name you are used to a team of grafters kicking more skillful players off the park?

Is that possible?..to be uglier than Gary, 'I speak in the 3rd person' Neville.

What I can't understand about the Neviller is how or why is he still the MU captain. It should be Ferdinand.

Ribery is the real deal and I believe one of the few french internationals who doesn't throw strops and is a players player a la Scholes.

well you would have thought not, but i don't know, maybe...

still the capt purely in name now i would think, if that makes sense.

i hope you are right on the last bit. seems academic at the moment though, as valencia seems to be the preferred option.

I hold my hand up, it's a fair cop! Unfortunately you can only support one team IMHO, the town where you were born and watched as a kid. So I'm stuck with Blackburn. And it's Tugay's last season.......... aaargghhh!

Your one last skillful player!

What do you do if you were born in a town and moved away when you were 6 months? Your is a very old fashioned view I feel, true you cannot change your team once chosen but it doesn't have to be your home town club in this day of a highly mobile populace.

You'll still get to play Swansea and Cardiff!! Didn't the Cardiff fans try to wreck the pub opposite Sunderland's ground a few years back?

Just an emotional tug that no other team produces. If I had been brought up where I now live, in Gloucester, who knows which team I'd support.
Having watched Blackburn in the top 3 divisions, home and away, they are stuck with me.

I certainly don't admire the football we play, but considering Blackburn is only a small town just over 100k population, it's an achievement just to be in the EPL

The Toon are down to 10 men now. Bassong sent off for a foul as he was the last man back.
