You'd have to think so. The NU players don't seem to be bad as individuals.

Lots of great individuals, but that seems to be the problem. None of them are the type of players for a relegation fight. All money grabbing mercenaries with no heart. Apart from Alan Smith. But these days he's about as much use on the pitch as a one legged man playing the banjo.

Aye, if they kept Allardyce I believe Newcastle would be comfortably mid-table. Instead Blackburn fans have the pleasure of watching giant monsters knock six bells of shit out the opposition whilst trying their upmost to keep the ball in the air as long as possible. I predict a rovers return for Kevin Davies.

Great season by Man U, and hopefully they can keep Tevez...there really isn't any dead wood on the team other than Anderson and my least fave Neville.
Has anyone noticed how Tevez looks a much better player coming into a game rather than starting one? |

Afterthought: If Hull and Toon win and the Mackems lose, they go down. How sweet would that be? |

No. If we get a draw and Hull lose we survive. If Hull gets a draw we need to win (which won't happen).

Re: The Toon Army / EPL thread
According to BBC sport, this is Man U's lineup for tomorrow.
Man Utd (from): Kuszczak, Amos, Neville, Brown, De Laet, Ferdinand, Chester, Eckersley, Simpson, Fabio, Nani, Fletcher, Gibson, Tosic, Martin, Drinkwater, Macheda, Welbeck. I suppose the team selection was predictable but I wouldn't even know where to begin guessing the result..could be anywhere from 3-0 to 0-7.

I don't blame Man U for fielding a youth squad: perhaps they'll be trying to impress the boss? Fingers crossed. |
