well, mixture of relief, pleasure and pride all in one, what a season so far, so many trophies lost count, but perhaps the biggest still to play for.
worries now for newcastle though, i can only see a reserve/youth team, possibly with fletcher as capt, put out against hull, there is then at least a possibility of a draw, if not nick a win, obviously not good for novo, happy birthday by the way. on a final sour note, see benitez has had a gripe about utd winning due to the money we spend, as he is of course very frugal. did not do chelsea that much good this year did it, or last come to think about it. disappointing from a top manager, at least wenger had the courtesy to comment on how he thought we won it with a little dignity, good on him and the arsenal players, there were some nice scenes of sportsmanship at the end of the game, makes a nice change from the shambles in years gone by when we played one another. come on the 27th, more scenes like below in Rome. |

What a cock up on Setanta Canada though. They stayed for the trophy presentation before joining the Newcastle-Fulham game but didn't actually show any of it
Just had a shot of some of the crowd while you could hear what was happening...then they cut away for an interview with Arsene Wenger that was conducted in French. |

Just wondering, if Shee-rar takes the barcodes down, will he still be the messiah? Or a very naughty boy?

Mistaken identity. KK was the Messiah. Big Al is only auditioning for the understudy job.
Who would play the part of Judas? |

Don't think no blame will attach itself to Shearer, he came onto a sinking ship and couldn't bale out quick enough.

I think he should take some responsibilty-they weren't in the relegation zone when he came. Certainly someone like 'Arry Redknapp would have led them to safety.
