I'm no financial sophisticate, but I had the impression that Ashley had settled the debt rather than purchase it?

Splitting hairs in a sense, but if it's the former, Newcastle as a business are no longer in debt.

Word is that John Carver (former Toon coach and recently departed manager of Toronto FC) will rejoin the staff if Shearer stays on. He's certainly got experience of the lower levels of football.

The MLS is certainly that, lol. :p:p

I see Ashley has put Newcaste back on the market, this time for 100 million GBP. Which is less than he bought it for, let alone the 110 million he paid to clear the debts.

"Less" is arguable, considering the both the club and GBP are worthless right now.

Your lot are looking for a manager too since Ricky Sbragia (who he?) quit. I expect you'll be attracting no end of interest from people no-one has ever heard of.

Good luck for next year. You'll need it.

Got us worried by the possible consequences of a managerial merry-go-round.

With them wanting Bruce, Martinez may end up being target #1 for Wigan...

All I can say is .... Bugger Off.. he's ours :sneaky:
