Is there any justification for the way certain chelsea players carried on yesterday? Seriously, I dont care how passionate and fired up you are, the games over, you lost. All they have done is come across like a bunch of millionaire 6 year olds throwing a tantrum when things dont go their way.

The real indicator of class is not how you behave in victory, its how you behave in defeat. Chelsea failed. Big time. And for the manager and captain to publicly defend certain individuals I find extraordinary.

For Terry to say they have 4 or 5 shouts for penalties, so at least some should have been given is ridiculous... I wouldnt say any of them was a nailed on certainty, and its totally beside the point, they were not given, the game goes on. They had plenty of chances to put it away and didnt, so they have only themselves to blame.

He also said (after the fact) that the ref should not have had the game as he had only refed 10 CL games before. Might be a reasonable point... if the ref hadnt actually taken charge in 24!

Some of them need to tale a long hard look at their own behaviour. If I was a Chelsea supporter I would be mortified by the total lack of dignity shown.

Hes just one bad apple though, and has been severly censured by the club.

Yesterday you had senior internationals like terry, lampard, ballack, drogba carrying on disgracefully..and now we get the inglorous sight of Terry and Hiddink saying that behaviour was OK!

I hope UEFA come down hard on them, its an absolute disgrace and the behaviour should not be tolerated...........somehow I doubt UEFA will, Drogba might get a 2 match ban but thats about it, they wouldn't want to piss off Abramovich and co.

has Gerrard had his day in court (for assault) yet?
and yes most of the Chelsea players could do with a kick up the backside,to sort out their attitudes.

I totally agree with you. Drogba to me is a liability...he, through his own actions, ended up not able to take a PK in last years CL final. His actions in the game were awful...always trying to get a PK, not coming off when he was injured (surprisingly able to leap around after the game). Pique did handle the ball I think but Eto's handball etc was not a handball. Terry and Lampard are sore losers and Lampard will never get a thicker skin (he couldn't take any criticism by Barton post WC).

Those actions by Ballack near the end of the game were awful...when are these millionaires going to learn that the ref will not change his mind after the action...that is what they are paid for...to make a decision right away..this isn't NFL or NHL where they 'take it upstairs' and drag out the game.

That was never a red card for Abidal....Anelka tripped over his own feet but Chelsea players will never admit that.

This evening I'm going to an end of indoor season footie dinner/drink up etc at a Scottish restaurant...should be good, loads of ex-pats some of whom I know are CFC supporters....maybe I should wear my MUFC shirt.

This just goes to show what morons some Chelski fans are and how the players behaviour on the pitch can effect the fans :frown:
