torres is not my type of player i have never been happy with him,lost a good yard of pace 10%of the player he was and he does not look very interested.
drogba is my man but it looks like he is off to china with anelka for one last big pay day.

We play Manchester City (away), Liverpool (away), Arsenal (away)and Manchester United (Home)in our next six league games.

The other two games within the 6 are Wigan and Newcastle.

If we are still within 3 points of the top after that then anything is possible- we would certainly have the easiest run in.

Excellent news today. It seems that Toon have signed Demba Ba's Senegalese international strike mate from Freiburg for a reported 10M euro.

Papiss Demba Cisse scored 22 goals last season in the Bundesliga and has notched 9 in the first 15 games this season. He's 26 and has a real goal scorer's first touch.

On Ba, "Arry's claim that there's a buy out in his contract is only partly true. It can only be activated after the season's over. He wants to renegotiate before then. (Likely in case his knee gives out before then).

Of course, if Liverpool offer 20 million quid plus Andy Carroll, they might get a deal. :)
