I intend to, very shortly after I pass on to the Great Hockey Rink in the Sky.

Sweeping statement. Didn't Cristiano Ronaldo score more league goals? He is also much better defensively.

I also think Xavi and Iniesta are the key players in that Barcelona outfit. They hold every major trophy in the world simultaneously. You could put Jermaine Defoe in that Barcelona team and he would not finish with many less goals than Messi.

Messi- arguably the best player in the world around the box with the ball at his feet. Probably top 3 of his generation but will need a World Cup to be more surely.

Sigh. How about Jimmy Greaves vs Glen Hoddle?

Outside bet for Euros success: Scotty Parker. He'll get selected and have a great one I reckon...

I read that too. I doubt Scholesy will go even if asked. But god knows they'd need him.

I honestly think that it is fine time that the 'golden generation' be put out to pasture...I wouldn't be upset if the euro squad was devoid of terry, lampard, rio, gerard. For some players who have put in time and gone through the qualifiers to have scholes waltz in is a bit of a bitter pill to swallow.

With Hodgson you're getting a bit more tactics than harry the dodgy dealer.

Despite being a man u fan, I think Scholes should not be in the squad and I'm not 100% convinced he would put his name forth.

Messi plays infront of the best central midfield partnership ever Xavi and Iniesta and as a result is gifted alot of opportunities.

I percieve Maradona as the greatest. What is the concensus?
Barcelona are excellent with Messi but Maradonna played when tackling was still allowed. I seem to remember that Maradona had a patchy (on field) disiplinary record (getting sent off in 82 etc) though but in spite of that I'd say Maradona.

I did hear that they had to let the cleaning lady for the trophy room go as there was insufficient work to be done around there though they did save a few bob on not having to buy any silver polish.
