What an understatement, like saying the British government needs to tweak the economy to sort it out! 5-0 is not slight.

Well, I look at the bright side. We already had a poorer GD than any of the other teams in (remote) contention for Yurop, so 5-0 is no worse than 1-0.

Spurs were a class above us today, shit happens, but I hope less of it will happen when we get our midfield players back. Cabaye for the next match, Tiote for the one after that (I think).

Guthrie, Perch et al. have filled in admirably until today when they were both rubbish. Krul also looked uncharacteristically dodgy as did Williamson.

Suarez has achieved a lot. He has got ordinary people cheering for Utd.

Well the football aside, you have to give credit to the jolly Geordies for showing us soft southerners up for wearing shirts when it's freezing.

I missed that. I should probably have taken the brown paper bag off if I wanted to catch such details.

Here was one at the game today. He looks like a pretty tough character.

Novo, it was the "Arry ain't going to jail" team uplift that did it. Yes, we were good today but Newcastle have big injury issues too. They'll bounce right back.

I f***ing hope so. The last 6 games have been WWL WWL. If they have any sense of rhythm it'll be WW against Wolves and the Mackems. If not, that's game up. But at least they'll stay up which was rather questionable at the start.

Tiote is an excellent player and with out him Newcastle are very soft centred.

Spurs were irresistable today! I remember the end of the season in 1995 when we had Klinnsman, Popescu, Anderton & Sheringham and thought we'd push on and challenge for the title the following season.

I just hope we don't hit the same type of summer this year which I am starting to fear should Redknapp leave.

Mick McCarthy's fired at Wolves. Not too surprising.

Oh, and I haven't been following the ACN too closely, but it seems we'll have Tiote back before then and of course Cabaye has now come off suspension.

It's obvious that Wolves will win the match on the 25th.

Zambia won it on penalties! First time in their history.

Best fact of the day
Ryan Giggs has played more Premier League games than Manchester City

Blue Moon has eclipsed the red half. Who cares.

A massive 2 points clear is it, and seemingly more nervy by the week...

Lets talk about an eclipse once you have a couple of champions league wins under your belt
