I guess Arsenal must be confident of winning that after yesterday, Spurs are a Joke, well that is correct in this current time.

Spurs may be doing crap right now, but the NLD wouldn't be such a great couple of fixtures every season if either team were so shit that the other one was guaranteed a win.

As a Gooner, I obviously want us to win them, but not as a slaughter. Good luck on Thursday.

Re: The Toon Army / EPL thread

They play with no tempo what so ever at Tottenham and there is a lack of movement in the final third.

Be an interesting summer as we have definitely regressed the last couple of seasons. I kind of want United to pass us as I don't want to be involved in the Europa cup next year.

It looks like Arsenal will end their trophy drought to further rub salt in the wound.

No, I'll have a look thanks, but truth be told I have given up on football or any other sport that is played outside.

That was screwed up - Ref and assistants need to be banished to non league games for the rest of the season

How can Oxlade-Chamberlain be cleared ? It was a great save yes, but surely he deserved the red and doesn't a red mean 3 matches ?

Season is over Tangram what the hell are you talking about????

No in all seriousness I agree with you someone should have got a ban. It was a deliberate foul and blatant attempt to cheat.

I think the FA just wanted to walk away from that one out of sheer embarrassment to be honest - screwed it up enough without drawing anymore attention to it :)

It is another case for the fourth official giving referees some help.

They should give red cards straight away to all the Arsenal players for bringing the game into disrepute for stepping on the pitch.

And strengthens UEFA's argument for referees at each end of the pitch as well.

Dave, I wasn't necessarily referring to the ref's not doing their job, but the F.A.

Clearly the ref got the wrong man, fair enough. But having reviewed the clear video evidence, surely the F.A. retroactively give Ox the red card and a 3 match ban and clear Gibbs of the offence.

That's what would happen in rugby.

It happens in football too.. just not to Arsenal it seems.

Preston North End had the wrong man sent off in their League One game against Port Vale in November. The striker Joe Garner was suspended retrospectively for three games after the midfielder Neil Kilkenny had mistakenly been dismissed.

The FA admiiting mistakes AND fixing it are rarer than Arsenal trophies in the last ten years! :p

Liverpool have a genuine chance. They are in the Champions League again and can celebrate regardless.

I am very jealous but good to see a British Manager doing well.

Apparently Tim Sherwood has been sacked after punching a player. Awaiting confirmation.

Yup. Twitter noise.

6 "winnable" games left of this miserable season.

Consolidate 6th spot. Get a new manager. Get organised. And hope for a better time next year.

Bayern Munich in Champions League semis as Man United pull out

United board members have decided that they don't want 'The Wrong One' to face more embarrassment on the field in the current season and they will allow Bayern to move into the semis.

Totally lacks plausibility. A large money making corporation giving up opportunity to fleece 75000 people of upwards of 40 quid each? I dont think so.

Now, me telling the kids I was wearing my wifes underwear after they hid all mine this morning, that at least had some plausibility;)
