Newcastle United are having big trouble selling tickets for their ‘end of season’ bash. It turns out people don’t like going to parties in February!

Absolutely gobsmacked.... even Sir Alex called the decision "crazy".

Nicola Cortese really is a little banker..... I've followed them for many years, quite closely since Nigel Adkins came on board. The likes of Lambert and Puncheon will not be happy (Lambert was on for 2m47s before getting his goal against Chelsea last week). If they're unhappy, they won't play well.... and I hate to say it, but I'd be rather pleased to see them go straight back to the Championship after this.....

There I was the other day, thinking that Eden Hazard is a great player.

Then he goes and does this today. Shocking.

(I also heard that Torres tried to kick the ball boy earlier in the match but completely missed him then stubbed his toe on the corner flag.)

I for one hate all the chav scum players but while this was a bit silly on Hazard's part, the ball boy (who looked about 22 btw) milked the naff out of it for his few minutes of fame.

Daniel Sturridge is a decent enough player but why does he have to do the most obvious of dives as he's just done today? Hopefully the next few valid penalties for him won't get given when the referees have to consider whether they can be sure he isn't cheating. Same goes for all the other divers.

I placed a bet with myself that you would bump this thread about now.

Bye bye Arsene. :)

Tottenham never really hit top gear today. I think the gulf between us is such that we didn't need too.

Defended well with occasional quick counter attacks and should have really scored 3 or 4 in the end.

It is a shame we started the season choppily or we'd be looking very comfortable in second spot now.

Tough run in but I think 70 points will secure us the Champions League Spot.

I agree not very useful description......... I would rather use poorly organised, non competitive, poor defensively and awful attacking capability. Great stadium though and a manager with a great record behind him. ;)

Don't get me wrong I'm not an Arsenal fan, but to say they are sh*** is rather churlish and compared with other teams say in the top half of the Premier League, they can hardly be called that.

But it was Oink who said it..........and being churlish is one of endearing charms ;)

(Plus he is a Spurs Fan so it doesn't count )

Actually he was quoting Piers Morgan, so I wasn't actually directing the comment directly to you btw.

Whoever said it ( Spurs fan included ) cannot possibly back up the comment otherwise most of the Premiership are sh*** barring Man Utd.

I do believe that Piers Moron actually said they were shite or something similar to try and be edgy and down with the boys on Fox Soccer Channel. I agree with the above, their performances of late are lacking, especially defensively, but they're still a the top five team. As for the general character of the club and fans, they're shite and have always been shite.

Ah, well that's a different matter and obviously tinged from a Spurs viewpoint as would my opinion be of some other teams fans etc.

Canny shot from Papisse Cisse in added time there. You fockers might be going for the Champions thingy but we're going to be happy with survival, which I think is likely now. We might pick up the UEFA Cup or whatever it's called these days along the way. You nivvor knyoa.

And we're three points up on S******d. A happy day.

To say the least. That's about as clear a red card offence as I have ever seen.

At least the FA are going to review it even if they're not bothered about the Hand of God incident a second before the goal-that-never-was.

You can't get PM until you have 3 posts.

Might I suggest "2" and "3" as your next epistles?
