Three styles of chicken, Mexican, Thai and Butter.

I tried the Thai version.Very nice but I thought it was more like the chicken served in an Indian place I used to go to back in Bristol.

Didn't cook very well in the oven though. Half way through it was still frozen. I finished it off in a pan, cutting the large chunks in half.

It's just the meat and the sauce, so add rice and green beans, say, and it'll go for at least 3.

It's proper chicken breast and not a bad price given the lack of padding out.

Haven't heard of that brand before. Where is it from?

Had extra spicy peri peri chicken from Nando's last night. I'm having left over extra spicy peri peri chicken for lunch today.

Extra is one peri peri too far for me. In fact these days, it's often lemon & herb :o

Chicken breast stuffed with cheddar and topped with bacon on a bed of lambs lettuce, baby plum tomatoes, and sesame soy dressing.

Oddly enough, Quebec...oddly given the spelling of Quisine

Part of Olymel I think.

I've seen that brand Flamingo but never these 3 products. Did get some breaded chicken and chicken wings of this brand, buy one get one for a buck so not a bad deal.

The ones in the photo seem interesting, maybe they will show up eventually.

Went out yesterday late afternoon to catch the high slack tide and took along a smoked salmon spread and some parsley, garlic and olive oil infused 'toasties' to spread it on. It was perhaps one the best things I've ever eaten, just delicious. I didn't land anything although some of the other 30+ boats there did so there are fish around. Will have to try again this week plus it'll give me an excuse to buy some more dip.

Bought a couple of chickens in Walmart on Friday for Sunday dinner.

Leg/Thigh portion each for four, with roast taters, gravy and veg and while there we saw a box of lighter-in-colour burgers marked Applewood smoked bacon in big lettering.

One of my uses of spare chicken breast is for club sandwiches so I thought perfect, we'll have baconburger club sandwiches in a burger bun on Monday.

Only in the small lettering and ingredients do you see these are actually beef burgers flavoured (not much) with cheese and bacon.

I was really expecting a sort of chopped bacon patty. I'm certain I've had one before

You'll have to to have something else. It's gone cold now.

A few spicy beef tacos.
Edit: Because it's Sunday I'm also having a plate full of potstickers and some sauce.

Bangers and mash and gravy, lots of it. No scolding about vegetables, the place is in pieces and I was lucky to get what I did.

I was thinking of picking up a Nando's platter on the way home as HID will be at an evening meeting until late but between you and me, after a couple of drinks in Joe Fortes and all bets are off.
