Coq au vin, the vin is a giftling bottle from the office, I believe made by the artists group/band we rent space to. It's quite good, and I'd say it's a Reisling. I'm having a couple of glasses, it doesn't have to all go in a pot that size. :drinkwine:

His reply basically was 'Are you nuts, I've got it made here, great food, great laundry facilities and I always make sure any girl I fancy has her own place for the nocturnal activities'.

Just saw this. Who wants the kids to leave home. They can look after me in my old age.

I've even got them into Sunday Roasts. :)

Tenderloin two weeks ago, roast chicken with stuffing last week and prime rib premium roast today.

They won't be going anywhere.

It looks very nice and tasty.

I think I'm having some roasted racoon droppings, a dock leaf salad and a conker.

Its the consequential visit to the proctologist and his safety I'm more concerned about.

Sirloin steak, baked potato, 'braised' whole onion.
Kim Crawford Merlot. Yum-yum.

Roast lamb - cooked to perfection...but relatively tasteless. I think the worst roast beef I ever cooked was better. Everything else on the plate was lovely.

It can't just be that it was boneless leg surely?

Think I'll stick to shanks in future...except we still have one left from when we bought it and cut it up. I'll probably smother that one with pesto as that worked well previously.
