Today - homemade cauliflower and Blue cheese soup with hot pizza-topped buns.
Really good on a cold afternoon.:)

Homemade beef stew and veg tonight with some nice posh green olive bread. It'll be swilled down with a nice glass of Acai juice

Had a very nice shepherd's pie although we had it quite late as I haven't got used to the time shift yet.

Sushi tonight. My favourite was the Popeye Rolls

We had a chinese style braised chicken thing with rice... very tasty. And the bonus is that there is enough leftovers for my lunch today.

Tonight I have no idea what Mr Chookie and I are eating as I am going to be at work until gone 8pm. The kidlets will be having pasta cooked by eldest kidlet.

Tonight on the menu - homemade cauliflower and broccoli soup. I have just blitzed it after cooking it last night and letting it cool down.:)
I may add some cheddar to that when we come to eat it tonight, or maybe just have some cheesy bread with it.

I made a big stock pot full, so lots to freeze as well for a quick supper another time:thumbsup:

I have to ask - what is a Popeye Roll?
(and can it be considered authentic oriental as Popeye most certainly wasn't:p!)

I like the first two but gomae sauce? Never had it and didn't know what it was but now I know it is sesame, which sounds nice.

Google is my friend;).

It tastes more like a peanut sauce really in my opinion.

I have noticed that I seem to post about soup on this thread a lot (especially involving cauliflower).

I do cook and eat other things, but maybe making soup is something I do when I can't find anything more interesting to do - much like posting on this forum.:p

Popeye was a China sailor on the Sand Pebbles - I had a lovely #36 Beef Sate with rice noodle soup at N‘goc Van for lunch and later I can kill the rest of the cold Smokey BBQ Wings from Extra Foods and make a salad. Had a bacon sandwich with ketchup for breakfast. Canada‘s Food Guide be damned.
Ps: Lemon Hart & Diet Coke
