Q-Tip. It's no substitute for real dental care but in an emergency it helps.

Broke my healthy eating plan for the first time since I began. Heavy cold, feel like shit, got lasagne (and salad) delivered from a local Italian restaurant for the husband. I don't know if the restaurant was feeling generous or they had a surplus today, but they also gave us a tray of cannoli. Bastards :frown: :o

I have some pain killers. I will buy some cloves anyway. They are good in apple pies and it is apple season.

You need antibiotics, painkillers won't touch it.

It's not throbbing , if you pardon the expression. I think it is cracked though or a bit has come away. It is sore and tender.
Was rather hoping to put up with it until the Appt on Tuesday which was the soonest I could get around here.

Bonjela adult / Orajel or similar (anything used for babies teething etc.,) might help, rub it on the gum line under the tooth or a gob of it on the cracked part so it seeps in.. oil of cloves does help too.. as does a garlic clove on the affected part.. and rinsing with warm salt water can reduce inflammation..

Hate toothache :( Feel better soon

Tea was a strip of beef jerky and half a bottle of water; I passed on stopping to eat so we could get back to Regina before it got dark. Bacon and tomato sandwich for breakfast, same for lunch only eaten behind the wheel. It's not as far as I go when I travel to BC but 12 hrs is long enough even with 1 break, and I can stand to miss the odd meal.

It's the way that Amazon have their links set up :)

Orajel for toothache I found to be quite good.. combined with rinsing with warm salty water :)

Home made beef and veg pie tonight. MIL and SD slaving away yesterday and today making a pie selection as is their (now) Easter tradition. It used to be MIL's Christmas tradition.

I'll get them to do Gregg's 'Bakes' yet.

Two inch breaded pork chops, spinach and potato pancakes/latkes with a side of apple sauce. Hmmm, hmmm, good.
