Oink, maybe we should egg each other on like those teenage anorexia sites.

You said you've been living on air. You should block up one nostril and only breathe through the other one using a straw, so you get even less air, otherwise you'll get fat.

The only pie I make is Beef in (dark) beer. My MIL is the pie maker and come Easter she will make some of various kinds. This was a Superstore deal a few weeks ago and I had to use it so as to make freezer space for......
Spoiler:
the home made pies

That packaging makes it look like it's been in your freezer since 1954. :)

I made a roasted vegetable frittata tonight, it was very nice.
This is the recipe pic, haven't sorted out my new phone's capabilities yet! Looks the same though.

Now that looks like a lovely supper. When I was single I had eggs many nights in a myriad of ways for my dinner. We try to have at least 2 meatless nights a week.

Us too Rete, apart from the health benefits I'm finding as I get older my tastes are changing. Once upon a time a big steak on my plate would have made me grin, now it's more like 'yuck' We try to have fish at at least a couple of times a week too.

Same here. The few times a month that we have beef and it is a steak, we have leftovers from a shared ribeye. We both love all veggies. Hubby can't have greens because of his meds and I can't have corn or root vegs because of diabetes. Yeah, we both cheat now and then but in small quantities. For me I can make up for it during the meal in eating less carbs. He doesn't have that choice but limited greens to the first two weeks after his monthly blood test. Fish is big in this house as well although much of it is frozen these days because our state markets only sell catfish, tiapa <sp>, crawfish (which neither of us like) and shrimp. Rarely see scallops, never see clams or mussels, cod, haddock or Pollock.

Spaghettini and marinara sauce with sausage and loads of cheese. I put big gobs of mozza in the sauce as well as parmesan on top. The other half will no doubt appear as leftovers sometime today or tomorrow.
