Eeny meeny chili beany... since I skipped lunch yesterday and only had chips instead of supper last night this is my first real meal since breakfast yesterday, and I'm looking forward to it.

I craved onion rings all afternoon, so had kimchi hotdogs and onion rings for supper.

Two dry Ryvita crackers and a bowl of spinach leaves (no dressing). It was my treat day.

Keep this up mate and you'll live to be 100. That's a lot of Ryvitas to look forward to.

Breaded chicken breast and sweet potato fries with garlic mayo. I'm counting Greek oregano as a vegetable here....

I plan to have three orders of chicken wings and copious pints of lager to wash them down. Admittedly HID left this afternoon for a yoga retreat in San Diego.

Disaster, they [Earls] have stopped doing Korean bbq wings. Still these will soften the disappointment.

I'm reading Swallows and Amazon's with my 9 year old at present so as I'd had to explain what "Pemmican" is in the books - Corned Beef - we had Corned Beef hash for supper. Corned Beef from a can, diced spuds, potatoes and, as a sop to getting the veggies in, carrots and peas. It was surprisingly satisfying. Haven't had tinned corned beef for a decade or two!

Diced spuds and potatoes, ooh, living large! I like corned beef hash, though it's nothing at all like pemmican. I'm waiting until corned beef goes on sale again so I can stock up. Dollar stores have half-sized cans for $2 which are just right for a small batch, but when the large cans are $3 at the grocery store I'll buy 4 or 5 of them.
