There is public transit to YVR south terminal. A bus. You get off the train at Bridgeport and catch the 412 bus.
That said most airport jobs are not compatible with public transit as they start too early or end too late. When I worked at YVR I started at 4:15am way too early to take transit.
The night shift got off at 1 to 2am.
Hence why I had to drive to work in an Evo.

Perhaps I asked the wrong question! Transit did not tell me that ........ all I kept getting was information on the Shuttle from main terminal.

Scaringly accurate of the stereotypes of parts of the GTA. If you added Guelph it would have a birkenstock wearing granola crunching leftie, Waterloo would have a software engineer with poor social skills, and Barrie would have a mullet and lots of beer and other enhancements and Mulmur Township would have a Subaru driving hobby farmer involved in NIMBY protests.

We will try to go next weekend.
I didn't get back until almost 7 Sat night so too late to go this week.
The automation for CBSA makes clearing customs so much nicer and quicker. No more filling out declaration forms by hand, the machines even know what flight you arrived on.
I still have not ever had an airline ask to see my permanent resident card.
I guess with automated kiosks no more passport stamps, only stamps in my passport are Canada with RR written below them, they did not do that this time, Evert other time I have flown in for the last 15 years they stamped, I'll kind of miss those they also came in hand when trying to figure out dates of entry into Canada.

Its not a hugely popular route. Most of the time when I was on it there were like 5 or 6 people most days. I worked for a time at south terminal, and took that bus to/from work.

I am trying to get into a training program in the fall, have hit a bit of a hiccup, the school in Canada wants a high school transcript sent directly to them from the high school, but my high school (in California) refuses to send transcripts to a non-US address and wont send one directly to the college in Canada.
I emailed the college to see if there is any way around this, I have a sealed transcript from the high school, it was just sent from school to me at my US PO Box.
The other requirements I think I can meet, just need to take an English test, if I can score high enough, I wont need to take English 12.

I wonder if they would send it through an online service and if the college would accept them sent that way? https://www.parchment.com/order/on-behalf/

What a scene !!! I hadn't hear of this before but apparently it has been going on since 1199. It makes that cheese rolling down a steep hill event seem tame

I also emailed the college to see what they say as well, can't possibly be the first time a potential student has a school outside of Canada that won't mail transcripts to a foreign country.
At least they are not asking for a copy of the diploma yet, that is long gone through so many moves over the years, no idea where it was left behind.
