When we lived in New Jersey I was talking to someone who had his small dog taken from the garden by a hawk.

MIL after 50 some odd years in Canada has decided to apply for citizenship in Canada.
If I had the money, I would just go to Seattle to see a doctor, I am losing faith in the doctors here.....

Damn you. I just looked to see how much it was now. Of course, now I shall get "based on your search you may be interested in this soldering iron"

This kind of thing really hacks me off... try another browser/clear cache, go again... delete cookies.... have to sign in from new again. Sometimes one gets the good price back, but not always. I usually run two different browser sessions when I'm after something.

I was in the end able to get the $10.02, it took ordering on the phone to do it though.
My computer currently show the $17.77 price still.
I only need this for a one off project, and likely never need it again, so didn't want to spend a bunch on something I wont need again.

Still nothing on the throat/coughing/neck issue, next stop a specialist, apparently the specialist usually pretty fast at 3-6 months. If only the referral was sent 3 months ago when it started and would not go away.
If I had the ability to, I would go to the US at this point and see a doctor just to speed things up and get it dealt with.
I just hate the it's probably not serious, but there is a chance it could be, and then having to wait several more months.

Re: Random stuff - the anything else thread
When my wife was having gallbladder issues several years ago and in pain, the surgeon she was originally sent to had a 3-6 month wait list, but the pain was quite severe at times, so each time there was onset of pain she went to the ER, at the 3rd visit another surgeon who was consulted by the ER doctor booked her for surgery a few days later, so only about 2 week wait from initial symptoms and pain to surgery.
I have to renew my US passport soon, appears they have no method to pay online, and require a check or money order drawn on a financial institution based in the US, so I guess I have to cross the border to get one.
"Renewing from Canada? Personal checks or money orders must draw on U.S. financial institutions based in the United States and be payable in U.S. dollars."
