Glad you had no serious injuries.
20 or so years ago I was in an accident at highway speed.
Other then some bruises, I was not hurt. When the firefighters arrived they were a bit surprised I was out of the car and walking.
The car was in bad shape.
Had to climb out the window.

The paramedics were surprised at how well my poor little car protected me.
Thanks for the kind words people's.

Talk to your insurance about physio and see if they'll sort it with the other company. The other person is at fault so your insurance should be able to help so you avoid the hassles.

Big year back home. 2 neices and a nephew turned 18 in the last few weeks.
Time sure does fly.
2 of the 3 are going to college.
Who would have thought pushing airplanes backwards would be the best part of my job.

When i eventually got my head up out of the cockpit I'd realise that I was somewhere completely different on the apron and hadn't even noticed them pushing me back !!!

You are lucky to have family. I know an old guy who lives in an old RV all year round. The only company he has is his dog. A couple of years ago I contacted his daughter who lives in the US. She’s a “friend†of his on fb. She was not interested. She’s his only family...
You are lucky to have a job you enjoy, even if your coworkers are younger than you. My husband lost his job a year ago because his boss didn’t like him. He had done nothing wrong. Just clashed with the boss. Even HR seemed embarrassed he was being terminated...
Fast forward 11 months. He still doesn’t have a job. His self esteem has plummeted and the longer it takes the harder it is to get employers interested in his resume.
He’s 54 on Saturday. Employers write him off when they see the gap in his employment and work out how old he is!
I’m not writing this so you can feel sorry for us but to encourage you to embrace life and what you have.
Enjoy every single day, life really is a gift!

Thanks for all the kind thoughts and wishes and offers.. I really do appreciate them and the heartfelt caring behind each and every one of your posts.
I'm going through a bit of a fugue right now, and just wish life would go back to normal.. I don't like feeling scared like this. I'll pick myself up again, it will pass - it's common to feel this way, apparently.

You're doing your part and that's all you can do. I recommend some sort of treat.

I think what you're feeling now is perfectly normal, I went through some huge roller-coaster emotions two years ago after my scare, and felt really alone when I left hospital. But you're quite right, it will pass.
Hugs. And stay strong.
