Either in Nat Geo or Equinox I read about a pick-up hockey team called the Dubai Penguins, who kept ice to play on at great expense and had no real opposition. People love iced hockey.

My wife is trying to get home from work, but there is some sort of police incident and road is closed so bus driver kicked everyone off the bus, so now she is stuck and not sure how to get home, translink has not yet posted any detours for the routes affected.

Can she ask any of the other bus passengers what they are doing to get home?

Wife had heck of a time getting to work today, she called and arranged for a taxi last night but never showed which isn't unusual, Vancouver taxis are unreliable on a good day, eventually a bus came, but it wasn't able to get all the way to where she works, so she ended up having to walk the last half.
